Energy Advisor Training

Our new project wants to train you to help your neighbours to save money and energy.

We're looking for recruits to become Energy Cafe Advisors, who we will train to help local residents who are struggling with fuel debt. The course will train volunteers to assist others to save money and energy in their homes while allowing them to keep warm and healthy throughout the winter.

Topics covered will include:
  • How to switch energy supplier
  • Coping with fuel debt
  • Accessing discounts and grants
  • Reducing energy use

We will provide 21 hours of AQA-accredited energy champion training, which will be delivered by South East London Community Energy. It consists of 6 workshops, each 3.5 hours long. The schedule will be tailored to be convenient for those attending.

See what previous participants in the course have had to say about it. And if you want to learn more about how our partner's SELCE have tackled fuel poverty, visit their website.

If you're interested, or if you want to know more, just email us at energycafe@crewenergy.london.

This project is funded through our work at DRCA and the UKPN Power Partners Fund.
