Alex GibbonsAlex migrated from a background in the gas industry after working as an apprentice with the National Grid since the age of 16, and then at Cadent Gas. After leaving the gas industry in 2018, Alex found a new focus, seeking a career within the sustainability sector. Alex became interested in sustainability within the home, from the various technologies and products we use at home to the amount of energy we consume. Alex owes a lot to Jeremy Rifkin’s blueprints for an economic transition to a post-carbon ecological society and would like to do his part in its development and needs.
Alex first got involved with CREW Energy in fuel poverty work, through energy cafes, and is now training to become a Domestic Energy Assessor and a Retrofit Assessor to help make an impact within the local community and help reduce carbon emissions. |
